Taking Students from Consumers to Creators

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Students have more and better access to technology than ever, but without intentional planning, it’s easy for them to remain passive consumers of what the internet offers. This session will help you turn that all around; you’ll leave with tools and ideas that will challenge and encourage your students to transform from consumers of knowledge and content to creators who can teach the content themselves. We will discuss many tools and websites that you can use to have your students demonstrate and display their learning, among them: Adobe Spark, Google Slides, Google Sites, Explain Everything, Storyboard That, Powtoon, My Simple Show. Come to learn some ways to help your students make that leap.
