PLEASE NOTE:  Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference.  The conference is sold out at this time and registration is closed.

We do not plan to have paper programs available on site.

Brainstorm 2018 is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, or news organizations from photographing conference activities. VSTE, SVTC and James Madison University reserve the right to use images taken at the Conference with your photograph and/or likeness on social media and/or in future marketing materials. We are NOT responsible for individual attendee’s use of your image or likeness.

Parking:

Ohana! "Stitching" Math to the Real World

Math classes connecting mathematical functions to real-life objects. Students apply their knowledge about functions, and volume of solids and cross sections to create a 3D model of their favorite character using function transformations, graphing calculators, spreadsheets, TinkerCad, and a 3D printer.
